Turtle Beaches have taken it to a whole other level this year at E3. We were shocked to see what Turtle Beach Ltd had to offer this year as they have lost the majority of the market to their main competitor “Triton Headphones” but this might all change as Turtle Beach Ltd revealed today a new series of headphones that are compatible with not only the Xbox One and Playstation 4 but also with the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Personal Computer. Even though Triton Headphones offers a series of headsets just as these ones their headphones don’t offer the same 5.1 Surround Sound quality that Turtle Beaches have to offer.
There is one major difference between Turtle Beaches and Triton Headphones, that main difference is that Triton Headphones are affordable and Turtle Beaches aren’t. A pair of Tritons will cost you anywhere from $30 to $60 while a pair of Turtle Beaches will range you anywhere from $80 to $150 depending on which model you choose. This results in the majority of people choosing Triton over Turtle Beaches.
These new headsets being offered by Turtle Beach have new 5.1 Surround Sound technology built into it, silk like cushioning around the ear pieces of the headset and a 5.1 surround sound Microphone as well. The new 5.1 surround sound technology allows for low sounds with deep base to sound more clear, every movement is more identifiable and it honestly feels as if you are a part of the game itself
